Plot:
Produced by B. P. Singh (the man behind CID TV Series), the story covers the psychological aspects of a murderer. It gives more focus on how the criminal is caught and why the person developed such murderous instincts. The stories are inspired by real-life murder mysteries. In Abhay season 2, Kunal Kemmu as investigator Abhay Pratap Singh is back to lead the STF team to solve new cases. Abhay continues to fight these monsters that are disguised in the form of a human. His character shows that the #RoadtoJustice is long and filled with danger.
The story starts from the point where Abhay moves on after the death of his wife during a case. He sends his son to a boarding school while living with his girlfriend. In the first episode, we see Chunky Pandey (as Harsh) does heinous crimes to increase his intelligence level.
In the second episode, we see Bidita Bag (as Saloni) playing the role of a sex worker who kills her victims uniquely. In the third episode, we see the entry of Ram Kapoor, who plays the role of a nameless man. He kidnaps a bus filled with school children and teachers and also kills a noted journalist. He gets caught and during interrogation; he promises to release the children one by one if Abhay solves the cases that the killer gives him.
Now, what does Harsh do to increase his intelligence level? Why Saloni kills her victims? What cases does the nameless man ask Abhay to solve? To know the answers you will have to watch #AbhayOnZEE5.
Review:
The story is quite engaging and thrilling. It will keep you hooked with every sharp twist and turn. I did not find any unnecessary meandering. You will enjoy it from the first moment. In this series, we see Ram Kapoor in a new role. His looks add a layer of fear and anxiety to the minds of the viewers.
Though the stories are modelled on real-life incidents, I found the screenplay to be unrealistic. This made the episodes look quite fictional despite claiming to be based on real-life incidents. It could have been more realistic. The background music will give you goosebumps; it perfectly matches with the storyline.
