Rani Ma is a role model. We can learn many things from her life.

    • Rani Rashmoni was a great philanthropist. She believed in simple living and high thinking. She was the queen of Janbazar, but she never hesitated to reach out to the poor and needy people of the society.
    • She is an epitome of ‘Nari Shakti’. She fought for the rights of the women and fought against the social evils that existed in Bengal. She raised their voices at a time when women were forced a lead a life filled with restrictions.
    • Throughout her life, Rani Rashmoni faced much opposition from society. But she never quit. She continued with her fight. Here, we see that if you are determined and on the right path then, nobody can stop you from achieving your goals.
    • Rani Rashmoni taught us that if we want to change society then, it needs to start with ‘I’. Society will only change when people start changing themselves. She never hesitated to take the first step.
    • She was a great devotee. Rani Rashmoni fought against social evils, but she always followed the traditional culture, and never lost her faith upon God. Here, we understand the importance of spirituality in our lives.

Rani Rashmoni was way ahead of her time. She was one of the great pioneers who raised her voice against the British rule.

Performance:

The show is quite engaging. It will keep you hooked. It is one of the very few shows that won’t let you miss a single episode.

Editing and Screenplay:

The story revolves around the Mid-19th century. From the costumes to the jewellery of the characters, they have beautifully portrayed the Bengali culture of the Mid-19th century.

Acting:

Ditipriya Roy is doing a fantastic job in playing Rani Rashmoni’s character. She is doing it very beautifully, and the flow is natural. You are going to love the dialogue delivery.

Verdict:

It has been 3 years since the show was launched and it continues to be one of the top TV shows in Bengal. There were many occasions when Rani Rashmoni topped the TRP charts (and continues to do so). The show teaches you how to face the challenges in your life. It is one of the few shows that won’t make you miss a single episode.

Rating: 4.85/5

Rani Rashmoni serial is a must watch definitely. In the recent Nawadwip episodes it’s becoming boring. Too much of Gadadhar starving to have a look of Gaur….The character of Annada seems to be just stuffed in to extend the story and build up episodes. Ganesh has no expressions and he seems to find himself out of place. The story needs to wind up now. Unnecessary extending it will lose its charm.
