Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play launched in India, prices starts at ₹ 11,999

Lenovo-owned Motorola has finally introduced the successor to the Moto G5 series by launching the sixth-generation of Moto G smartphone series in India. The company has launched the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play smartphones in India.

Pricing and availability

The Moto G6 Play is priced at ₹ 11,999 and will go on sale via Flipkart. Prices for the Moto G6 starts at ₹ 13,999 and will go on sale via Amazon. The 3GB + 32GB variant of the Moto G6 is priced at ₹ 13,999 and the 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at ₹ 15,999. Both the smartphones will on sale starting midnight tonight. These handsets will also be available across all the Moto Hubs.

The Moto G6 sports a 5.7inch Full HD+ bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ration and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GBor 64 GB internal storage. The storage can be topped up by another 128GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Moto G6 sports a dual rear camera setup at the back – 12MP primary and 5 MP secondary with dual tone LED flash. On the front, it has got an 8MP selfie camera with LED flash. The handset packs a 3,000mAh battery and supports TurboCharge. Other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type – C.
