Some facts about sleep
During sleep, brain cells work very hard to remove all the waste that builds up when we are awake. Sleep can be divided into two stages –
- NREM (Non-Rapid Eye Movement)
- REM (Rapid Eye Movement)
NREM sleep is the type of sleep when you don’t dream. NREM sleep helps your body to restore and recover. REM sleep lasts for about 90 minutes and takes place in 3 to 4 parts. Everyone dreams in REM sleep. Eyes moves very fast, while closed.
Studies have also shown that people who are in higher postions are found to sleep. So, you can say that the amount of responsibilty is inversely proportion to the time you sleep.
