Hello friends, I’m back with the weekly roundup of #XploreBharat Week 6. Hope, you have enjoyed reading the weekly review of Week 5. If you’re yet to read the weekly review of week 5… Well, you can read it now :).
On Day 1, we visited a beautiful place in Magnificent North-East. The place lies between the banks of the Brahmaputra river and the foothills of the Shillong Plateau. Yes, it’s Guwahati. Guwahati trip is incomplete without visiting the Kamakhya Devi temple. The next day, we decided to beat the heat by visiting two chilly places in a single day. At first, we visited Dalhousie – a paradise, in true during the summer season. Then, we moved to another beautiful place in the North East – Sikkim.
On the 3rd day, we visited a famous temple in South India – Thiruvannamalai Temple in Tamilnadu. There is a story regarding this temple whose moral is…’Say No to ego’. Then, we visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
On Day 4, we moved back to North East and visited Tezpur in Assam and enjoyed the serene beauty of mother nature. The next day, we reached Dapoli and enjoyed playing water sports and chilling around in the sea beach. On Day 6, we visited Naimisharanya and visited some of the important sites. And on the final day of the week, we visited the picturesque Lakshadweep islands. The virtual tour isn’t enough. Just can’t wait anymore to visit the place in person.
