Plot:
For better understanding, we request you to watch REJCTX Season 1, before you watch Season 2. It starts from the point where it ended on Season 1. The story revolves around a group of students of Jefferson World School. REJCTX Season 2 starts with the mysterious death of Anushka. Police Officer Rene comes in to investigate the murder. She finds out that Anushka had an affair with Aarav. Meanwhile, other crimes started occurring in the school, and all of them point to Aarav. Officer Rene starts following Aarav’s activities.
The story takes a different turn when some students start getting blackmails from Mr. X of REJCTX. He tries to trap all the members of REJCTX. In the season’s climax, Aarav pushes Kiara off the terrace right after kissing her, X’ directed him to do so. Now, who is Mr. X? What is his motive? Will police officer Rene be able to catch him? Will Aarav be punished for killing Kiara? To know the answers, you will have to watch REJCTX Season 2 on ZEE5.
Performance: The story is quite engaging and thrilling. It will keep you hooked with every twist and turns. But the story could have been more realistic and ‘logical’. Though the incident took place in a high school, it lacked that ‘high school’ feeling.
Editing: Cinematography was fantastic. Some defining moments were captured with sufficient cinematic exposure. The editing part was also good.
Acting: Acting was OK. But the series needs special attention in this part. Excessive use of adult scenes could have been avoided. We do have high expectations from ZEE5’s originals and directors like Goldie Behl. The dialogue delivery could have been better.
Music: This is something which I liked very much. Especially the first episode. The music will touch your heart, especially Ranjhaana. Not many web series offers such kind of music.
Verdict: The background of the story reminded me of the movie, Student of the year. The story perfectly captures the ‘teenage friendship’. But the story lacks the usual classroom scene. The story could have been more realistic. The story is very fast-paced, and certain scenes left me at the edge of the seat. I must say that season 2 is much better than season 1. Season 2 ended with a few unanswered questions. So, we can hope for season 3. So, if you are looking for some action-packed crime thriller with some good music, then you go for REJCTX Season 2 on ZEE5. I’m sure some of you will start playing the track, Ranjhaana in a loop.
