OnePlus today has launched the much awaited OnePlus 6 smartphone in India. The device will be exclusively available via Amazon starting at ₹ 34,999. The device will go on sale starting May 22. The company has also announced an Early access sale for Prime Members on May 21, 12 Noon. The 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant is priced at ₹ 34,999, while the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant is priced at ₹ 39,999. The company also announced The Marvel Avengers Limited Edition of the OnePlus 6 that comes with 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage and is priced at ₹ 44,999.

OnePlus 6 specs – Regular Edition

The OnePlus comes with a glass back panel and a notch at the front with a spill-proof design. The OnePlus 6 smartphone boasts a 6.28-inch Full Optic screen with 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor clocked up to 2.48GHz with Adreno 630 GPU. The handset runs on OxygenOS 5.1, based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The OnePlus sports a dual rear camera setup – 20MP Sony IMX519 sensor and 16MP Sony IMX376K sensor with support for both EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The rear camera setup also includes Dual LED flash. On the front, it comes with a 16MP Sony IMX371 sensor. The device packs a 3,300mAh battery with support for Dash-Charging. The company has also promised Android P upgrade for OnePlus 6 smartphone. Sensors on the phone include – Fingerprint (located at the back), Hall, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, RGB Ambient Light sensor, Electronic compass and Sensor Hub. Other features include – 4G LTE/ LTE – A,  WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and USB Type – C.

Security features include fingerprint lock and face unlock. The handset will be available in – Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Silk White colour variants.

The OnePlus 6 features a Carbon fibre layer below the Corning Gorilla Glass panel. The OnePlus logo and the Avengers logo on the rear panel are made of gold colour. It also includes an Alert Slider made of gold colour. The handset comes with an Iron Man protective case and with an Infinity Avenger Medal.

OnePlus Bullets

The company has announced new wireless headsets in India, OnePlus Bullets – priced at ₹ 3,999. The earbuds can be magnetically snapped. The headsets support USB Type-C Fast charging. OnePlus claims that the headsets are equipped with “energy tubes” to deliver better sound and minimise noise interference.
