Mobile World Congress : Asus launches Zenfone 5 Series smartphones

Asus has launched its all new Zenfone 5 series at Mobile World Congress, 2018 at Barcelona, Spain. The Zenfone 5 lineup includes – Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5 Lite and Zenfone 5Z. The company has also launched Zenfone Max (M1).

Zenfone 5 Lite

The Zenfone 5 Lite sports a 6-inch Full HD+ IPS display with Full View 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. On the front, it has got a Sony 20 MP camera and 16MP camera at the back. The handset also includes a 120-degree wide angle camera sensor at both front and rear. Other features include NFC, facial recognition and a fingerprint sensor. The handset packs a 3,300mAh battery.

Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5Z

The Asus Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5Z sports a 6.2inch screen but the company claims that the phone is packed in a 5.5-inch body size. The Asus AI boost is available in both models. Both the handsets feature a dual camera setup – 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor and an 8MP wide-angle (120-degree) sensor. On the front, it has got an 8MP camera.

The Asus Zenfone 5Z is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and comes with upto 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The Zenfone 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. Other features include – WiFi and Bluetooth 5.

Zenfone Max M1

The Zenfone Max M1 sports a 5.5inch screen but the company claims that the phone is packed in a 5-inch body size. The handset packs a 4,000mAh battery.  The handset is equipped with dual rear cameras with 120° wide-angle lens.
