[LIVE BLOG] After 4 month break, PM Modi’s first Mann Ki Baat of 2nd term to air today

After a 4-month break, Prime Minister Narendra’s radio programme Modi Mann Ki Baat will resume today. This will be the first Mann Ki Baat programme in PM Modi’s second consecutive term as the Prime Minister of India. The last episode of Mann Ki Baat was aired on February 24, 2019, days before the Lok Sabha elections were announced. In that episode, Prime Minister had suspended the show for March and April. While doing so, he said that he was doing Confident of his return, PM said that the next episode of Mann Ki Baat will be aired on the last Sunday of May 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the programme was going to resume on June 30 at 11 AM. “30th June, Sunday at 11:00 AM… We will meet once again thanks to the radio, share joy, positivity and celebrate the collective strength of 130 crore Indians. I had read about the Akshara Library in Kerala. It lies in a village within the forests of Idukki. P.K.Muralidharan and P.V Chinnathampi who run a small tea shop, have worked tirelessly for this library. Today this library is a beacon guiding children on a new path.

Another such poignant story is 'Poos Ki Raat'. In this story, the living depiction of the paradoxes in a poor farmer's life is seen. Though these stories were written about a century ago but remain relevant all the same even today.
